Who doesn't love an elephant? A stunningly beautiful creature. I chose this oil burner for the elephants marching around it, the removable reservoir, (which I find so handy for filling and cleaning) and the beautiful Gorara soapstone it is made from.
Then I found out more about Gorara stone, wow! Gorara soapstone shows a variety of marine invertebrate fossils making it a stone that is truly a one of a kind.
Soapstone is easy to carve, it is also durable, heat-resistant and has a high heat storage capacity. It has therefore been used for cooking and heating equipment for thousands of years.
These oil burners are hand carved by the master craftsmen of Agra, descendants of the artisans who worked on the Taj Mahal. Each oil burner will have its own unique veining which adds to the natural look and beauty.
To use.. simply place a tea candle in the base, fill the reservoir saucer with water and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil and let the aromas infuse the air.
We'll even throw in a couple of tea lights to get you up and running (just in case you don't have any). Otherwise, it's like getting a battery operated toy at Christmas and no batteries. Not much good that, is it?
Don't forget your essential oils though. You can find some here: Rainbow Life's Awesome Selection of Essential Oils.
