Everyone is into pugs at the moment, right? So, I thought we best get into Pug Fever and get an ethical coir mat for ye pug lovers out there. I just love the idea of quivering in one's boots as there's a pug guard dog in there ready to go for your jugular!
My friend bought a Jug, a cross between Jack Russell and Pug. She's called Olive, don't ask me why, she's just a little Olive I guess.
Sorry, if you have a Jug we don't quite cater for you yet, but who knows? Our doormats are produced in Kerala, India using waste coconut fibre and are produced in small community cooperatives, increasing employment in remote locations.
Material: Natural Coir with PVC Backing (sorry that bit is unavoidable)
Eco Credentials: Made from waste coconut fibre.
Dimensions: Width 75 cm Depth 46 cm Height 2 cm
With offices in both Xiamen and Yiwu, Puckator have the people on the ground to be able to physically inspect and monitor the factories and business used in their supply chain. This way they (and we) can be sure that their suppliers adhere to the high standards that would be expected of them in the ever-growing environmentally concerned industry.
Combined with bi-annual trips to China by their buying team and a commitment to requesting social audits where possible, they are confident that by working together with their suppliers, efficiency and standards will continue to improve and grow year upon year.
