These vegan friendly soaps are handmade in Chiang Mai, Thailand by this Thai Fair Trade organisation.
The soap is made using pure vegetable oils that do not clog skin pores and essential oils that not only benefit your skin, but also lift your spirit through aromatherapy. Every bar contains natural vegetable glycerine, a by-product of the homemade process. This natural glycerine helps improve your skin's moisture balance by attracting external moisture and holding the moisture in your skin, without interfering with the skin's natural functions. Due to the unique recipe using a mix of rice bran oils, palm kernels, coconut, and olive oils in this soap you get a rich fluffy lather and a deep moisturising effect.
Wrapped in recycled newspaper so no harm is done to the environment.
The moisturizing cleansing bars are formulated with pure essential oils and natural colors.
Soap-n-Scent consider it immoral to kill an animal for a bar of soap. They make their soaps with pure vegetable oils that “do not clog skin pores unlike animal fats”.
Their basic soap recipe starts with rice bran oil, an excellent moisturizer. Then they select palm oil containing a high percentage of oleic. This makes the soap a superior conditioning and cleansing bar. Next, we put in palm kernel and coconut oils to provide even more moisture and give a rich, fluffy lather. Finally, they add olive oil as an emollient to produce the ultimate, deep moisturizing effect.
