Made by 'Felt So Good' who are passionate about creating high quality, long-lasting products that don’t compromise on design and showcase the beauty of natural materials.

Therefore, their products are made from 100% sustainable wool and are entirely plastic free.

Hand stitched using organic cotton thread or needle felted. They don’t use glue in any of their products.

Unlike similar felted products, you will never find any sneaky polystyrene centres in their characters, just natural wool.

In 2020, all plastic buttons, plastic beading and embellishments were removed from their products and replaced with wooden/biodegradable/ natural alternatives.

They also changed the labelling, replacing the plastic Kimble with natural string and opting for a natural paper label.

Felt So Good was born in 2009, when founder Adele Zara Collinson was working in Asia and came upon the vibrancy and potential of using felt as a sustainable, eco-friendly material.

As much as Adele was loving life as a holiday rep for TUI, she knew her passion for a creative business was calling. So, combining her knowledge from her design degree and an overwhelming urge to bring handmade beautiful products to the market, her search for an ethical cottage industry began.

For weeks she visited factories large and small throughout India to ensure that the location that would produce her designs was safe, ethical and had a minimal carbon footprint.

Finally, she found the perfect relationship. A small cottage industry in Nepal creating products from wool.

Felt So Good now employs over 250 talented people and in 2021 they plan to open a second cottage industry, which will enable local people in a new, more remote area to learn the felting skill and have secure employment that isn’t currently offered in that remote area.

Felt So Good is BAFTS, SEDEX and WFTO certificated
