We love this product as it is made from remnants of fabrics from the garment industry. This truly is creative re-purposing. The remnants are carefully laundered before being beautifully assembled together to create unique and useful bags.
The colours are vibrant and the patching together creates some lovely combinations of pattern and colour. These are works of art in themselves. The designers chat with each other about the different arrangements of fabrics.
When I use my patchwork bag I like to muse about why the artisan who created my bag combined the fabrics in the way she did.
Every bag is of course completely unique as each is made from different remnants so colours and designs will vary. It could work equally as an overnight travel bag or a holdall for nappy changing.
This Patchwork Bag is fairly traded, made by artisans in Indonesia.
