Is your old wash bag washed up and washed out? If so we have the perfect replacement…
The Usipa from ‘Cycle of Good’ is made from upcycled inner tubes by fairly paid tailors in Malawi. This roomy wash bag will hold everything you need for scrubbing up after a long hot cycle ride, that overnight stay, the unexpected business trip and the family holiday. ‘Usipa’ means ‘little fish’ in Chichewa ( the language widely spoken in Malawi), perfect name for something you use when splashing about in water!
Designed with practicality in mind, this inner tube wash bag is unlined making it easy to wash out, the stitched carry handle can be used to hang the wash bag on bathroom doors or on changing room hooks and the sturdy full length zip means you’ll have easy access to all the bits and bobs inside.
Some of the upcycled inner tubes have manufacturers writing or the odd puncture repair patch meaning no two wash bags will ever be identical. In other words…yours will be unique.

Helping to end poverty in one of the poorest communities in the world. Currently employing 10 Malawian tailors full time, but with ambitions to grow this to a team of 100, they earn a good wage and can support their families, without any charity donations or handouts.
Cycle of Good is the latest initiative to join a hub of social enterprises created by the charity over the past ten years. It’s a quiet revolution of skills building and economic growth in a country with no welfare state: if you don’t earn, you don’t eat.
They now collect used inner tubes and other products, ship them in their containers to Malawi and give them to the tailors who carefully craft useful and beautiful items.
They ship all these amazing products back to the UK where they sell them to lovely people like you! The profits pay for them to send more containers to Malawi and all surpluses directly fund the work of the children’s centre.
That is why they call it the Cycle of Good!
Bought this a gift to my brother who is a cyclist! He was fascinated and in love with it straight away, great present!
I had my trusty old toilet bag for about 20 years. It has been all over the world with me. I saw no reason to change.
I took a leap of faith and am very happy I did.
This is so much better than my trusty old bag.
I absolutely love it. Looks awesome cool, is waterproof. Brilliantly functional. And it's made from upcycled inner tubes.
Highly recommend.
