Seagrass

Seagrass is biodegradable, non-toxic and requires no harmful chemicals during production. Seagrass products have a long lifespan (5+ years of use with proper care).

Beautiful, lightweight and sturdy, seagrass can be used like wicker or rattan. It’s far more versatile than either of those two materials, though more beneficial to the planet.

How to clean a seagrass basket

Seagrass baskets are easy to clean simply using a damp soft cotton towel to wipe, then use a dry one to wipe the entire surface of your basket and let it dry.

For stubborn stains or mould, mix a small amount of diluted soap with water and scrub the stain with a soft bristle brush. Absolutely do NOT use a stiff, rough bristle brush because it causes ruffles for seagrass fibres, consequently impacting the quality and aesthetics.
