The majority of the world's fashion industry is created by the mass production of cheap fabrics, that is both damaging to the environment, public health and uses exploitative practices. At GENKI we stand against this and create clothing using organic inks, ethically produced fabrics, printed by hand to create high-quality items made with love.
We work with independent tailors and fabric traders in Rajasthan, India. We believe in transparency in production and have personal relationships with everyone in the production of Genki clothing. From the artisan blockprint makers who create the patterns to the independent tailors who craft the clothes. Our supply line is simple, personal and transparent.
We ensure every step of GENKI is kind to our planet. Not only are we an environmentally conscious brand, but socially conscious too. We work with small, family-run businesses in India, supporting local production that benefits its communities.

Genki's founder, Camille Dawson, discovered her love for fabrics when she delved into her French granny's closet of vibrant wares as a child. She turned that love for textiles into becoming a designer, dedicated to creating clothing with that same feel-good factor she got when she first discovered the joys of beautiful material. In 2019 Camille formed connections with artisan tailors in Rajasthan, founded Genki Designs and has been consciously creating unique garments ever since.
