Whether you are an insomniac or simply want to drift off into lalaland peacefully we have something for you… We have carefully selected a range of products to ease insomnia and restlessness. An invaluable piece of advice I was given by one of the UKs leading insomnia consultants …. take a warm bath about an hour before you plan to sleep and ensure your bedroom is fairly cool. The reason for this is that as your body temperature drops it will start producing melatonin which will aid you to get off to sleep naturally. For this reason I have selected a range of bath products with ingredients that have sleep inducing properties.
Take your warm bath and use our products and we hope you will drift off peacefully and stay asleep, waking refreshed and ready for the day. Another tip from the wise consultant was to ensure good sleep hygiene. This means get yourself to bed and up at regular times. It also means try to step away from screen time long before bed and get into the habit of a soothing bedtime routine. Definitely no writing of emails in the middle of the night (my downfall).
I have included therefore a range of products to use in your soothing sleep prep routine: massage candles ( if you can’t find anyone to help out with this, we have our wooden massage tools for self-massage), essential oils for massage with carrier oils, lavender wheat bags to soothe any aching muscles ( great for restless legs too) and candles to create a peaceful atmosphere. If Yoga or meditation is your thing (also highly recommended to address insomnia), then take a look atYoga Life for our range of products that may help to get you into a good sleep pattern. We really hope you sleep better but if you are still having trouble we recommend chapter 13 of Matthew Walker’s book ‘Why we sleep’. “Night night, sleep tight ”………
