They are made using a combination of recycled High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS).

They sharpen with a normal pencil sharpener and contain a hard graphite core. Pencil shaving can be recycled. Pencils finished with a tastefully embossed gold ‘ideas’ and Vent's unique recycled logo.
